I have known this beeeautiful young woman since she was a caaaute little girl! She has grown and blossomed, and I am seriously impressed.   Lexi, keep doing what your doing and you WILL go places!

I did another Senior session yesterday. And before I left to go to the session I seriously thought I was going to blow away, the wind was soooo crazy. But once again Mother Nature took pity on me and my photographic endeavors and quieted the wind. Well at least for a couple of hours!

Meet Miss Ocea! She is one of the cute YW in my ward. She has such a great, friendly spirit and she is beautiful to boot I had a lot of fun on this shoot! Seniors are so fun! They are at such a turning point in there lives. I so remember being a Senior! Wasn’t it just yesterday? No? Oh, well it seems like it was!  It reminds me of a Green Day song- “For what it’s worth it was worth all the while.  It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right. I hope you had the time of your life.”

So the theme at I heart Faces this week is Dramatic B&W. When I first took this picture I wasn’t very excited about the lighting. It was a lot more harsh than I had wanted it, but the more I played with it and looked at it the more I began to like it. I love that the wrods on the wall go so well with the overall pic.  After all, who hasn’t just wanted to sit down and just not deal with life at one point or another.

When I was a senior in High School. Has it really been 11 years? It’s always fun and a little nostalgic when we go out and do senior pic sessions. Fortunately we had a beautiful (albeit somewhat cold) day today so we headed downtown and got a few shots. Urban shots work well for anyone, but I think they work especially well for guys.
